Your babe is sure to feel like the most beautiful mini-ballerina with these DIY Tutu Hair Bows.
- 3 rolls of 6-inch tulle in different colors
- Tape measure
- 3 pieces of string or thread, cut into 10-inch long pieces
- Glue gun
- Alligator Clips
Step 1: Start with the color tulle that you’ll want on the bottom of the bow. Cut 2 14-inch pieces. Fold them in half lengthwise, and then in half again. Pinch it by the middle and wrap a string or thread around it a couple of times. Double knot the string.
Step 2: Repeat Step 1 on the other 2 colors of tulle so that you have 3 separate tulle bows.
Step 3: Take the middle color bow and cut ½ inches off each end of the bow.
Step 4: Take the top bow, and cut 1 inch off each end of the bow. Save one of the cut off pieces.
Step 5: Stack all 3 DIY Tutu Hair Bows, starting with the bottom color, then the middle color, and last, the top color. Wrap it in the center with the saved piece of tulle that you cut off from the top color, and double knot it in the back of the bow.
Step 6: Hot glue an alligator clip to the back of the DIY Tutu Hair Bows.
