Let’s ditch the chalkboard and letter board back to school signs and step it up with this Acrylic DIY Back to School Sign!
What you’ll need:
- 8×10 Acrylic sheet (you can find these at your local craft or hardware store)
- Paint
- Paint Brush
- Vinyl/Stickers/Calligraphy markers
- Cricut or other Vinyl Printer (optional)
How to:
Step 1: Paint one side of the acrylic. Part of the charm of the acrylic is for you to be able to see the paint mark strokes so don’t overthink it! It’s supposed to look a bit messy!
Step 2: If making decals with your cutting machine; create your design and cut vinyl using your machine. If you don’t have a Cricut or vinyl printing machine you can also use letter stickers for this project!
Step 3: Use your calligraphy skills or apply vinyl/stickers on the opposite side of where you painted.
