What you’ll need:
- Flexible felt (multiples colors)
- String, twine, or ribbon
- Poly-fil or cotton balls
- Lollipop Sticks
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
- Scissors

How to:
For the Valentine’s Day play candy:
Step 1: First cut a 2” x 4” rectangle of felt fabric

Step 2: Roll it into a tube lengthwise and hot glue the inner 2 inches (leaving 1 inch unglued on both ends)
Step 3: Tie off one end with string or ribbon

Step 4: Stuff tube with Poly-fil or cotton (you can use the lollipop stick to help push it inside)

Step 5: Tie off the other end and finish your Valentine’s Day Play Candy by adding embellishments on the ‘wrapper’

For the Valentine’s Day play lollipop:
Step 1: Cut three 1-inch wide strips of felt in different colors.

Step 2: Repeat again with the same 3 colors, so you have 2 strips of each color (6 total)

Step 3: With the first set of 3, stack the different colored strips and begin to roll, hot glue into place as you roll*Note: the felt will shift as you continue to roll and will become uneven, totally fine! Don’t forget to add glue in between the different layers.

Step 4: Add the remaining 3 colors to lengthen each strip and continue rolling and gluing until you run out of felt.
Step 5: Trim any extra felt and finish by hot gluing onto a lollipop stick.
Step 6: Optional: add ribbon or yarn to the stick

Add your DIY Felt Valentine’s Day Play Candy to your babe’s play kitchen, or attack a sweet note and hand them out as Valentines!
