Make your babe’s Valentine’s Day cards extra special this year with this Darling DIY Personalized Photo Valentine!
What You’ll Need:
- A camera or phone to take a picture of your child
- Prints of that picture
- Card stock
- Curling ribbon
- Glue stick
- Photo splits (photo tape)
- Scissors
- X-Acto knife
- Lollipops (the smaller the stick the better)
- Cutting board
How to:
Step 1: Take a photo of your little. Ball up a piece of paper to stick in their hand to make it look like they are holding something. You can’t add text in photoshop or on your iPhone. I uploaded these to Walgreens for printing and was able to pick them up within the hour.
Step 2: Make 2 heart-shaped stencils one for your picture and one a little larger for your card stock backing. Trace and cut.
Step 3: Use glue or photo tape to stick your photo to your card stock. Cut and curl ribbon and tie to your lollipops.
Step 4: Use the X-Acto knife to cut two slits, one on the top of the hand and one on the bottom.
Step 5: Insert the lollipop!
Voila! There you have your own Darling DIY Personalized Photo Valentine for your babe to hand out to her class!
