Make a Valentine that is just as adorable as it is delicious with these DIY Rice Krispie Valentine’s Day Heart Pops!
What you’ll need:
- 4 cups of Rice Krispies
- 4 Tbs Butter
- 10 oz Marshmallows
- Chocolate chips
- Medium pot
- Cake pan
- Cookie sheet
- Large mixing bowl
- Wax paper
- Plastic Sandwich bag
- Wood skewer or lollipop stick
- Decorative string or ribbon
Step 1: Combine 4 Tbs of butter and 10 oz of Marshmallows in a medium pot on medium heat. Stir occasionally until fully melted.
Step 2: Add mixture and 4 cups of rice crispies to a large mixing bowl. Mix until all the rice crispies are covered evenly.
Step 3: Dump mixture into a cake pan and spread evenly. Let harden for 15 min!
Step 4: Use a cookie cutter to cut out heart shapes. Set hearts on a cookie sheet covered with wax paper. Add wooden skewers.
Step 5: Melt chocolate morsels and put them in a plastic sandwich bag. Cut the tip of the bag to drizzle chocolate over the hearts.
Step 6: Add sprinkles. Place in fridge for 20 minutes or until the chocolate hardens.
Step 7: Add ribbon, yarn, or string to decorate your Valentine’s Day Heart Pops.
